The levels have increased in size and are now enormous. Tony Hawk, Bob Burnquist, Steve Caballero, Kareem Campbell, Rune Gilfberg, Eric Koston, Bucky Lasek, Bam Margera, Rodney Mullen, Chad Muska, Andrew Reynolds, Geoff Rowley, Elissa Steamer, and Jamie Thomas are all present at this competition. Once you have completed all of the regular plans, you are eligible to attempt the Pro Goal, which is unique to each skater and is a tough challenge. The goal won’t be reached if you don’t hit a trick. New objectives have been added, such as getting the word “COMBO” while performing a particularly impressive combo. The objectives of this game are comparable to those of its predecessors, such as accumulating SKATE, scoring a predetermined number of points, grinding this, and transferring over that. Find a professional skater, have a conversation with him, and then you will be given the goal, just like in Dave Mirra Freestyle BMX, when you are ready to attempt one of the goals. You have all the time in the world to do this.
When you start a new level, you do not have any goals or time constraints to worry about, so you are free just to skate around, perform tricks, and get a feel for the level. The reworked career mode in this game is the most notable aspect of the overall package.
