


The key variables of interest taken in to considerations for designing the machine are generally classified as the machine parameters, crop characteristics and morphology and influencing environmental and/ or processing conditions. Threshing of grain crop is a unit operation that requires attainment of sets of processing condition that must be attained for effective threshing action to be accomplished. The general aim of this project was to design the wheat threshing machine with a best cleaning system simplified components and to model the whole machine based on available materials to achieve the real manufacturability of the machine and to sell it commercially with a low cost. Finally the remaining small dust particles will clean by the air blowing of fan and then it will enter to the storage or preferred sack. Here, to achieve oscillation motion on sieve the push rod, cam and spring arrangement was taken.

After being beating out the grain fall through concave grid in to the cleaning unit, which consists an oscillating sieve of which is gridded to pass grain and floats the unwanted straw and clean or remove by the repetitive sliding brush. The threshing operation is achieved by rotational motion of drum fitted with beaters toothed in its periphery above the stationary concave grid which results removal / separation cutting of grain from straw This crop should feed through the inclined hopper and the drum is covered in order to prevent safety of workers and to protect jumping of un threshed crops. The main components of the machine are, threshing drum with shaft supporting it, gridded concave with a set of series curved bars, sieve, fan, and slider crank brush for the cleaning unit, belts and pulleys as power train components, frame and wheals.

A thresher machine was developed for the threshing, separation and cleaning crops or grain and straw.
